DJ then joined the Marine Rescue Team while still in high school once 18 as a way to get involved and further test the waters of if EMS was for him. He immediately fell in love with it and has since been unable to get away or stop. It led DJ to get his EMT and upon returning from college join Rescue 5 where he's been an active member and also involved in the Amphitheater standby's.
DJ is currently in college at Purdue Univeristy studying Cybersecurity minoring in Forensic Sciences. He is a member of the Purdue University Police Department working as an IT Management Intern and Fleet Management Intern ensuring that Officers and Dispatchers have access to the systems they need when tehy need it.
